Cookie Policy
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, mobile phone) when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device and remember certain information about your visit, such as your preferences or login status.
In addition to cookies, other similar technologies may be used, such as pixels, browser local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage), or tracking scripts. In this Policy, the term "cookies" is used to refer to all such technologies collectively.
2. Who is the Controller
The controller of cookies and related personal data is:
- Octoro Technologies s.r.o.
- registered office: Korunní 2569/108, Prague 10, 101 00, Czech Republic
- Company ID: 23420464
- VAT ID: CZ23420464
Contact details are available in the dedicated Contact section of the website.
3. Legal Framework
The use of cookies is governed in particular by:
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR),
- Directive 2002/58/EC on privacy and electronic communications (ePrivacy Directive),
- Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications, as amended,
- Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the Processing of Personal Data, as amended.
In accordance with these rules:
- necessary cookies may be used without your consent, as they are essential for the basic functioning of the website and the Service,
- all other cookies (analytics, marketing, preference) are used only on the basis of your express, free, and informed consent.
You may change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings on the website.
4. Types of Cookies We Use
4.1 Necessary Cookies (Strictly Necessary)
These cookies are essential for the website and Service to function correctly. Without them, basic features such as login, navigation, and security cannot be provided. They include, for example, storing your cookie consent settings, identifying logged-in users, CSRF attack protection, and remembering your chosen colour mode. These cookies do not require your consent.
4.2 Preference Cookies (Functional / Preferences)
Preference cookies allow the website to remember information that changes the way the website behaves or appears, such as your preferred language, region, or other local settings.
These cookies are used only with your consent.
4.3 Analytics Cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the website, which pages are most visited, and how users navigate the site. Information collected through these cookies is aggregated and anonymised.
These cookies are used only with your consent. We use in particular Google Analytics (distinguishing unique users, maintaining session state) and DataFast (website traffic analytics and attribution tracking).
4.4 Marketing Cookies
Marketing cookies are used to track visitors across websites in order to display relevant advertisements. These cookies may be set by third-party advertising service providers.
These cookies are used only with your consent. We use in particular Meta Pixel (browser identification for ad measurement and targeting).
Note: Specific third-party cookies may change depending on the current configuration of the Service.
Meta Pixel and Automatic Advanced Matching
The website uses Meta Pixel (a tracking code provided by Meta). The Pixel records page visits and events (e.g. page views) and is associated among other things with the _fbp cookie.
If you enable marketing cookies in the cookie settings, Meta may additionally use Automatic Advanced Matching in accordance with its own rules: data you enter into standard web forms (e.g. e-mail address, phone number, name, address, postal code, country — depending on what you fill in and what is enabled in the Meta account) may be converted into hashed form before being sent to Meta and used to better match your visit to users of Meta platforms for the purposes of ad measurement, remarketing, and similar marketing activities to the extent of your consent. We do not use special categories of personal data within the meaning of the GDPR in this way, unless you enter such data into a form yourself.
For details on how Meta processes data, please refer to their Privacy Policy. The scope of data transmitted depends on your behaviour on the website, the fields you complete, and the Pixel configuration in the Meta Events Manager of the Controller.
5. Managing Cookies
5.1 Through the Website Settings
When you first visit the website, a cookie banner will appear where you can:
- accept all cookies — consent to all categories,
- decline optional cookies — only necessary cookies will be used,
- customise settings — select the specific categories of cookies you consent to.
You may change your settings at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the website footer.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be set by third parties whose services we use on the website. The Controller has no direct control over third-party cookies. For information on how these third parties process data, please refer to their own privacy policies:
7. Retention
Necessary cookies are retained for the duration of the session or for a maximum of 12 months. Analytics and marketing cookies are retained for the period set by the relevant provider, typically between 3 months and 2 years. Your cookie consent is stored for 12 months from the date it is given, after which it will be requested again.
8. Your Rights
In connection with the processing of personal data through cookies, you have the rights set out in the Privacy Policy, in particular:
- the right to access your data,
- the right to erasure,
- the right to withdraw consent,
- the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (https://www.uoou.gov.cz).
9. Changes to This Policy
The Controller may reasonably amend or supplement this Cookie Policy, in particular in connection with changes to the technologies used or applicable legislation. The current version is always published on the Controller's website.
10. Contact
For questions regarding cookies or personal data protection, you may contact us using the contact details available in the dedicated Contact section of the website.
This Cookie Policy enters into force on 18 April 2026.
